Georgina Kincaid has been a bad, bad succubus...
…which should be a good thing. But lately, thanks to her foul mood over breaking up with bestselling writer Seth Mortensen, she’s been so wicked that Seattle’s über-demon Jerome, decides to “outsource” Georgina to a rival—and have her spy for him in the process.
Being exiled to the frozen north—okay, Vancouver—and leaving Seth in the cozy clutches of his new girlfriend is unpleasant enough. Then Jerome is kidnapped, and all immortals under his control mysteriously lose their powers. One bright spot: with her life-sucking ability gone, there’s nothing to keep Georgina from getting down and dirty with Seth—nothing apart from his girlfriend that is. Now, as the supernatural population starts turning on itself, a newly mortal Georgina must rescue her boss and figure out who’s been playing them—or all hell will break loose…
Taschima's POV:
Another great installment in the series. Dare I say the best one yet? Yes, I think so.
In Succubus Heat Richelle turns the tables on our characters. It's so exciting! Jerome vanishes from the Earth and along with him goes the supernatural powers abilities of his underlings. Suddenly the vampires can enjoy the sun, and Georgina can't shapeshift or take the energy out of the people she nails. This leads to an array of things that make the novel very enjoyable and VERY steamy.
Georgina and Seth having sex was one of the BEST things EVER. Sure it was a bit tainted since Seth IS in a relationship with Maggie, and Maggie is such a sweetheart, but seriously we have all been waiting for this moment FOREVER. 4 freaking books. And they love each other, they really do. I wanted to hate Seth, but truth me told that little mother f grows on you, though I really love Roman too. Oh Roman, you are such a sweetheart.
The characters... Oh Georgina. I love you girl and I seriously think you should have given Seth much more crap. These characters are so complex though. On one hand Georgina wants to bitch out Seth for what he did on the last book, on the other hand she loves him so much it isn't even an option to bitch him out. Seth, well he surprises us in this book. He grows some balls, but is it for the better? Or will this just screw him up? We'll see.
Oh and the freaking loophole thing is driving me crazy. I want to know what it is already!! I think I have a pretty good idea of what it is, but we'll see what happens in the next book.
I want to tell you how much this book is without giving any spoilers, but it's just a Georgina book. It's as good as the one before it and it helps you get to know your main characters even more, plus Roman is back and who doesn't love a bit of Roman? This whole series is just one fun read after the next. Fast paced, the books will go by in a matter of days if not hours. If you are looking for a lot of witty banter, steamy scenes, complex but enjoyable characters, you won't find any better.

READ THIS SERIES!

Q: What is the one ARC you would love to get your hands on right now? A: That's so hard! I have to say that probably Silence (Hush, Hush #3) by Becca Fitzpatrick is the one I want the most. I haven't even gotten the chance to read Crescendo yet, but I loved Hush, Hush and am hooked into this series. The covers, the writing, the characters, the plot...everything! I would love to have this ARC! Q: Talk about the book that most changed or influenced your life (was it a book that turned you from an average to avid reader, did it help you deal with a particularly difficult situation, does it bring you comfort every time you read it?).   A: I would have to say that the Twilight Saga is what influenced my life. I read the series around three years ago before the movies came out. During that time, my family was going through so much and it was hard to handle it. I didn't have that much support to go to and I was confused as to my position and my health. I got hooked to Twilight bec...

Q: Let’s talk crazy book titles! Highlight one or two (or as many as you like!) titles in your personal collection that have the most interesting titles! If you can’t find any, feel free to find one on the internet! A: I'll stay true and look at my bookshelf. I don't have any crazy titles, but one that I got for my birthday is The Element Encyclopedia of Vampires: An A-Z of the Undead by Theresa Cheung . My sister bought it for me since she said this is "exactly" what I needed. Q: How has your reading habits changed since you were a teen? or If you are still a teen what new genres are you in love with currently? A: I love romance! I think that I'm a hopeless romantic, so I NEED romance. I can't get into a book if it has absolutely no romance. I've always been into urban fantasy, romance, and Young Adult, but I think I'm getting into more historical fiction. Q: Author Block Party: If you could gather a handful of authors to hang out with, who would you ...
